TOUHOU GAIDEN

TOUHOU GAIDEN is an action platformer heavily inspired by the aesthetics and gameplay of classic NES games like Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania, while adding to the mix the beautiful and overwhelming danmaku that Touhou Project is known for in high octane boss fights.

--STORY--
As the turn of the millennium approaches, rising tensions with unknown cause between humans and youkai threaten to plunge the fantasy land of Gensokyo into an all-out conflict that could mean the end of everything.

Youmu Konpaku, under orders from the Yama, and Reimu Hakurei, acting with a new mysterious benefactor, set out individually to restore balance before it's too late.

A what-if scenario set between Mystic Square & Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
